I love what I do! Working with your children to instill good habits, educate, and care for his or her oral health, together we will see that trips to the dentist can be fun, comfortable, and rewarding. As a pediatric dentist and father of two boys, it is not only important for a pediatric dentist to have excellent clinical skills and education, but an ability to provide a calm, reassuring environment...

Much like bathing, children see brushing and flossing as just another chore that needs to be accomplished, or in their case, brushed aside until the next day. At our office, we'll teach your kids how plaque can cause cavities, deteriorate the gums, and cause genuinely unpleasant looking teeth due to not brushing every day. We strive in teaching children, not only how often to brush and floss, but how to do it effectively.
No child wants to end up with a cavity. It causes a lot of pain and makes it hard to eat anything. Brushing and flossing is the best way to prevent cavities; however, even someone with good hygiene can experience a cavity now and then. Getting a filling might seem scary, but with the advances of technology, it is rare for children or adults to feel a thing during a filling. Our goal is to provide children with an atmosphere that will lead them towards better oral hygiene. At our Austin Pediatric Dentistry office, we will show the importance of oral hygiene to your child in way that will leave your children begging for more. After seeing us, don't be surprised if your children start thinking about wanting to become a dentist!
